Vibram Fivefingers KSO
I get a lot of looks when I wear these, and be prepared to get made fun of by your friends. They are in European sizes, and it would be good to try a few pairs on in different sizes to see whats most comfortable. I love these shoes, for a couple different reasons. The main reason I got these was for doing deadlifts.I love the stability you get with these compared to traditional cross training shoes. Why didnt i got with weightlifting shoes? I couldn't find a pair that i like, simple enough right? Also I started running in them, and after getting used to it, they are great for that also. I will say if your going to run in them, start with about 1/4 of what you usually do, and work your way up.

Grip Chalk
Grip Chalk is a staple for me, especially When doing power or olympic lifts. Gloves are an option, but personally, I think they suck. On a side note, if your worried about callus' on your hands, get over yourself, chicks like man hands. Back to the gloves. When doing any type of big lift, it feels like the leather grips the bar but slides around on my hands. With the chalk, my hands don't go anywhere. Having control of the bar is essential, it helps you maintain form and complete your rep. Chalk up. Go big. (your not LeBron so don't throw it everywhere.)
